The annual festival for the finale of London Fashion Week was celebrated by the public over the weekend of February 24th.
Tickets were available to the public to experience the ways of the fashion industry first-hand alongside buyers, stylists, models and independent boutiques at the event.
TV star, chef and author, Laura Jackson presented the ‘trend’ and ‘designer’ catwalks showing new collections from designers like Huishan Zhang and Osman to name a few.
Several designers also participated in talks available to watch by the public where they were interviewed about how they began their success where there was an opportunity to ask questions.
Asian fashion designer, Huishan Zhang said ‘I want tribute this collection to Dior to show how much I’ve learnt and how much I appreciated the experience’.
Several celebrities promoting their brands attended, including Made in Chelsea stars Hugo Taylor with his sunglasses range and Rosie Fortescue with her jewellery designs.
Alongside ‘pop up’ shops by upcoming labels, other labels such as Maybelline and Toni and Guy were on hand to give free makeovers provided by experienced technicians.
There were also photograph booths, nail technicians and champagne stands set up to entertain between shopping and shows.
Fashion blogger, Beth Rowlands said that the event was ‘an inspiring visit for fashionistas who want to pursue a career in whatever area of fashion. It drives my determination more!’
