Fulham Vs Preston North End Match Report

Sone Aluko helps keep Fulham’s play off dream alive after they beat Preston North End 3-1 at Craven Cottage at the weekend.

Aluko netted the first goal when Neeskens Kebano ran to the byline and delivered to the forward to fire past Chris Maxwell.

Chris Martin got the second for the Lilywhites after he was picked out on the edge of the box by Ryan Fredericks from the right wing.

Tom Barkhuizen got one back for Preston when he ran behind Fulham’s high defence to slot it past David Button in the Fulham Goal.

The Cottagers finished the game off in the last 15 minutes when Sone Aluko managed to weave his way to the edge of the box before slipping in Neeskens Kebano, who then managed to beat the Preston keeper from a tight angle.

The Fulham win meant that Preston were unable to close the gap on their opposition as they now sit four points behind the Cottagers, who are now only five points behind Sheffield Wednesday in the final play off spot.
